Long-time oddball and short-time Berklee Songwriting grad, Jack Stoker, has never felt exactly right in the world. For him, there’s always been a nagging question in the back of his mind, something that feels slightly out of place. Since he started writing original music at the reckless age of 16, he has sought to figure out what exactly that disconnect is.
The Stump Music Company is a possible answer to that question – a place where Stoker can share his lyrical musings and love of songwriting with the world. Whether it’s through his band, Stargazy Pie, his solo career, or his toplining services, Jack is committed to letting his art take whatever form it demands.

Sonically, Stoker borrows elements from artists such as Beabadoobe, Carly Cosgrove, and The Backseat Lovers. He combines sludgy, grungy instrumentation with his singer-songwriter sensibilities. Lyrically, Jack is inspired by the works of Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, and Matty Healy of The 1975. He loves witty pop hooks just as much as he loves soul-crushing extended metaphors, and aims to pull the entire spectrum between the two into his music.
Growing up in the moody Pacific Northwest, Jack is no stranger to the area’s thriving and eccentric music scene. As lead singer of the band Stargazy Pie, he’s performed in local venues all across Washington State and beyond. Jack is an award-winning singer and songwriter, and his band has been featured as a part of MoPOP’s SoundOff! Showcase, as well as the Seattle Theater Group’s More Music at The Moore. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music online in 2025.
When not making music, Jack enjoys watching football, going to church, hanging with friends, and collecting anything from vinyl records to action figures.
